We are always advocating for our children assuring that they aren't overscheduled (mostly) and creating margin within their lives. We make sure they are cared for, nurtured, eating well, and getting to bed on time.
But do we turn that caring spirit towards ourselves? Nope.
We are constantly in doing mode. As doing is our superpower. But eventually we will break. 100% chance of crumbling if we don't learn to stop, retreat, and breathe. Not tomorrow, not later today, not next season. In. The. Moment.
