"The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities." -Stephen R. Covey
When our kids are little, we are exuberant, excited, full of energy and are determined to do it all "right"--whatever that is for each of us! But little by little, the demands of motherhood increase, and all the fun "extras" fall to the wayside as we work to keep them alive, clean, entertained, and schooled.
And in the process of it all, we lose ourselves.
We no longer are our own priority.
As our kids have gotten older, the daily and hourly demands have diminished, but we are so caught up in being busy and doing the things, that we can't seem to make ourselves a priority, even when we try.
We blame it on time. When it's really about priorities.
This week's episode breaks down how we can take back our time and reclaim our lives again!
And to reinforce this idea, I have a 5 day time prioritizing challenge starting in the community on September 12th called Reclaim Your Time...Reclaim Your Life. And I would love for you to take the first step back to YOU by joining the challenge. Commit 30 minutes a day for a week to align your life with you values and create the space you need to move forward!
