Show Notes

Welcome to Dream Big and Implement Small. I'm Jennessa Durrani. I help midlife moms discover their meaning and find fulfillment outside of motherhood AND the energy to pursue it through simple 10 minute a day systems and practices so that they can feel whole once again. And this is my podcast where in 20ish minutes or less I share my tips, tricks, hacks and stories on how you can go from chaos to calm.

"We do not stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing". -George Bernard Shaw

Last year one comment made by a cranky gentleman killed the joy of Halloween for my oldest. It really got me thinking about how we have been conditioned to put the play things away and get to business at a very young age. As a result, there is less joy in the world. We need to play. As parents we need to promote play. As the adult we need to take time to play ourselves! Just for the fun of it. For the joy. For the practice. This week I break it all down and challenge you to prove me wrong when it comes to play!

As promised in the episode, here are a few links for simple ways to play that are not time consuming, not expensive, and with minimal supplies!
